Barney's Bicycle

Barney's Bicycle is a neighborhood bicycle shop on Park Avenue in Worcester, offering new and refurbished bikes together with parts and workshop service. Used and restored bicycles are an important part of its selection, making the store relevant to families and budget-conscious riders seeking practical transportation.

Customers describe help finding components that can be difficult to source elsewhere, along with advice on bicycle fitting. Saddle height and handlebar position are among the adjustments mentioned, reflecting attention to comfort for people riding longer distances.

Flat-tire repair and routine maintenance are common workshop needs. Customer accounts emphasize mechanics explaining a problem before beginning repairs, alongside some customer experiences involving slower repairs or difficult communication.

The shop's main identity is traditional bicycle retail and mechanical support. For Worcester cyclists, Barney's combines restored bicycles, everyday parts, and a repair counter in a familiar neighborhood setting. The shop is principally a bicycle retailer and repair operation, serving riders who need affordable equipment, parts, and practical help with repairs.
