Agee's Bicycles - Midlothian Turnpike

Agee's Bicycles on Midlothian Turnpike has served Richmond riders since opening as the family company's second location in 1974. Agee's began in 1910 and remains a fifth-generation business, bringing decades of cycling experience to each of its stores. This branch offers Trek bicycles, including electric models, with a service department that supports customers after a purchase.

The shop's approach emphasizes helping people choose equipment that fits them properly. One family described buying five bicycles over the years, with staff taking particular care to size bikes for three children. Riders also mention knowledgeable conversations with the Midlothian team and service that makes it comfortable to return with questions. New purchases include a follow-up check after thirty days, and customers receive discounted ongoing maintenance.

For families, that continuity can be just as important as the initial bike selection. A bicycle bought for a child may need adjustments as it is ridden, while an electric model introduces new questions about upkeep. Agee's Midlothian store combines Trek product choice with the familiarity of a longstanding family business, serving people who want a local relationship with their bike shop.
