Ace Wheelworks

Ace Wheelworks has long been part of Somerville's Davis Square cycling community, offering bicycle and e-bike sales, parts, accessories, fitting, and a full-service repair shop. Its workshop handles routine jobs as well as more involved mechanical work on conventional and electric bicycles.

Customer accounts describe quick attention to problems such as brake adjustments and more substantial overhauls. Some riders value being able to return to a local shop for service on an electric drive system it sells, rather than arranging support through a distant manufacturer.

Bike fitting is another part of the store's offering, alongside components and everyday cycling accessories. The customer experiences include both helpful workshop visits and concerns about some repairs or pricing, reflecting the varied demands of a busy neighborhood bicycle business.

For Somerville riders, Ace Wheelworks combines the selection of an established neighborhood bike store with a workshop experienced in maintenance and mechanical adjustments. Its strongest documented specialty is traditional and electric bicycles, particularly sales, fitting, and workshop support for those machines.
