Windy City Wheelers is an Arlington Heights e-bike shop known for unhurried, consultative sales and attentive after-sale support. Staff members Sam and Josie are named throughout. Purchases discussed include Urtopia Carbon Fold 2 folding e-bikes, an Aventon Adventure 3 for commuting, and an Aventon Pace 4 ordered for a spouse. Test rides, trunk-fit checks for folding models, patient walkthroughs of bike operation at pickup, and follow-up emails after visits are standard. Bike fitting is a recurring theme, with larger riders noting comfortable setups. Service accounts include a GoTrax electric scooter tire and inner-tube replacement completed next day using a customer-supplied tire, and a charging issue on an extended battery pack resolved with a free replacement sent promptly. One warehouse-caused delivery delay was communicated proactively, with an offer of home delivery to accommodate a busy schedule. The record is consistently appreciative of no-pressure guidance and responsiveness before and after purchase. First-time e-bike buyers get extra attention, with staff explaining range, charging, and maintenance basics.
