West College Avenue in Appleton is home to Wheel & Sprocket’s local store, part of a Wisconsin bike shop chain operating as a full-service bike shop since 1973. The Appleton store draws steady credit for a big inventory selection and a friendly, helpful staff. The store is a well-run business where visitors feel treated fairly and leave confident the problem they came in with was actually solved. The service bench works fast and finds fixes — one rider’s persistent bike issue was resolved where it had stumped others. E-bikes are part of the operation, with Trek and Electra electric models in the lineup and mechanics handling e-bike appointments. The address is 3939 West College Avenue on Appleton’s west-side commercial corridor, one of the metro’s main retail strips, reachable at (920) 997-9300. For Fox Cities cyclists the store offers multi-store backing — deeper inventory, warranty support, and a service bench — with a local team focused on fit, follow-through, and fair dealing.
