Upstate Cycles sits at 135 East Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood, New York, where owner Eric Chapman runs a bicycle shop with more than two decades of repair experience. The shop sells bicycles and electric bikes, handles full bicycle repair and maintenance, and its listings include the Levy Original and Levy Plus electric scooters, giving riders in the Chautauqua Lake area a local source for stand-up e-scooters. Service ranges from quick flat repairs and brake adjustments to shifter replacements, derailleur straightening, and wheel truing, with same-day turnarounds common for routine work. Chapman is known for digging through spare parts to solve tricky repairs and for helping customers fit accessories such as racks and handlebar additions. The shop accepts cash and credit cards and operates Tuesday through Saturday with hours that run into the early evening. A small independent storefront, it serves commuters and recreational riders who want hands-on service rather than a big-box transaction.
