Scooter Centrale at 161 Woodford Avenue, Suite 54 in Plainville traces its history to Scooter Centrale/Vespa Hartford, a Genuine and Vespa scooter dealership and service shop with directories citing roughly 28 years in business. Its published phone is (860) 747-2552 and listed hours run 9:30 AM to 6 PM. Directory entries describe a service department handling scooter repair alongside sales of Genuine and Vespa machines, with older records tying the business to owner Mike Maroon. The business’s official websites, scootercentrale.com and vespahartford.com, no longer resolve, so current listings on Superpages, Yellowpages, DMV.org, and FYPLE are the present evidence that it remains listed at the Woodford Avenue address under scooter-dealer and scooter-repair classifications. No product catalog, hours page, or service menu could be verified from a business-owned source. Anyone planning a visit should call ahead to confirm the shop is operating and ask which services are currently offered. Historical references identify Mike Maroon as the owner at the time of a 2013 ownership change. Callers may also want to ask about current repair pricing and turnaround.
