On the historic square of downtown Wooster, Ride On has served northeast Ohio cyclists since 2010 as a family-owned and operated full-line bicycle store. Owners Bill and Jackie Buckwalter and their team walk new riders through fit and selection, setting up several bikes for test rides and making adjustments until the right match is found. The showroom carries road, gravel, mountain, cruiser, and electric bikes from Giant, Electra, Cannondale, Salsa, and Allied, and the shop organizes group rides that take local cyclists out to nearby trails such as Vulture’s Knob. Service work covers routine repairs and adjustments; one visitor whose flat tire stranded him on the way home from work was patched up and rolling again the same day. The staff also adapts equipment for riders with special needs, from trikes to commuters. Electric bikes are part of the lineup, with test rides available on models such as the Giant Trance X Advanced E+ mountain e-bike.
