Pedego Electric Bikes Soda City operates as an electric-bike-only storefront on Meeting Street in West Columbia, just across the Congaree River from downtown Columbia. The locally owned shop sells Pedego e-bikes across the brand’s cruiser, commuter, adventure, cargo, trike, low-step, and specialty lines, with models such as the Interceptor, City Commuter, Boomerang, Trike, Cargo, Moto, and Latch, priced from roughly $1,949 to $3,995. Alongside sales, the store offers e-bike rentals booked through FareHarbor, a selection of accessories, and an in-house service department. Its published guidance sends owners to the shop for tune-ups and maintenance, and its online FAQ covers battery care, maximizing range, and ordering replacement parts. The shop welcomes prospective buyers to stop in and test-ride a Pedego free of charge. University of South Carolina’s Carolina News and Reporter identified it in 2022 as the Columbia area’s first bike shop selling only electric bikes. Store hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM, with the shop closed Sunday and Monday.
