Mobility City of Southfield, at 26732 Southfield Road in Lathrup Village, sells and rents mobility scooters, wheelchairs and lift chairs, with delivery and service supporting customers after the sale. Visitor notes describe knowledgeable help choosing a scooter, with staff explaining features and matching machines to individual needs. One team member, Bob, is named repeatedly in notes on visits, generally in connection with attentive sales and service. The service side is noted for promptly correcting minor issues and for field technicians who explain their work clearly. Communication around scheduling and delivery is described as reliable, including a holiday rental delivered ahead of time. For scooter users, the combination of a showroom to try equipment, rental options for short-term needs and ongoing service makes it a full-service mobility resource rather than a one-time purchase stop. The branch’s rental fleet covers short-term needs such as recovery or visiting relatives, and its service team handles maintenance on the machines it sells.
