A showroom on Central Avenue in Albany carries one of the broadest retail lines of mobility scooters in the Capital District, with the company’s own product pages listing more than two dozen Pride Mobility and Golden Technologies models, from travel-size folding scooters to heavy-duty all-terrain units. Mobility City of Albany is a franchise of the national Mobility City network, and its local page covers sales, repairs, rentals and White Glove delivery across Schenectady, Albany, Saratoga Springs and Troy. Buyers can try scooters, power wheelchairs and lift chairs on an in-store test track before purchasing, and every purchase includes home delivery with assembly, setup and training. The company states that it services what it sells, with trained technicians handling repairs and maintenance for all major brands and in-home service calls available so owners do not have to transport heavy equipment. Extended warranty plans of up to three years are offered on top of manufacturer warranties, and the Albany location is a VA-contracted provider serving area veterans. Its product range also includes power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, lift chairs, hospital beds, stair lifts, vehicle lifts, ramps, walking aids and batteries and chargers.
