Med Mart’s flagship showroom at 10780 Reading Road in Evendale anchors a Cincinnati company founded in 1992 that describes itself as offering the largest mobility-scooter selection in the Midwest. The showroom stocks lift chairs, mobility scooters, power and manual wheelchairs, patient lifts, hospital beds, and medical supplies, with rentals available and billing to most insurers including Medicare; a home-access division handles stairlifts, elevators, walk-in tubs, barrier-free showers, and wheelchair ramps. Scooter purchases are no-pressure, with responsive answers to follow-up questions; one stairlift was bought and installed quickly for a family with an urgent need, and another family got a thorough walkthrough of their new stairlift’s workings. Criticism appears too: small-item pricing ran nearly double online equivalents for one shopper, and one stairlift owner went through a stretch of unresolved issues, though the company eventually fixed them without charge. With two warehouses and same-day Quick Ship on eligible orders placed by 1 p.m., Med Mart serves walk-in and online customers alike.
