Madison & Davis Bicycle Shop operates from 912 S 8th Street in Quincy, Illinois, a locally owned bicycle shop running for more than 70 years since partners Carl “Odie” Madison and Greg Davis founded it in 1947. The store is a Trek dealer offering professional bike service along with a selection of bikes, accessories, and apparel, and its offerings include electric assist bikes (e-bikes) and bike fitting. Staff take time with shoppers, answer questions about models, and support buyers after the sale, with the operation covering same-day repairs, bike pick-up and delivery, tube and tire fixes including work on electric bikes, and help with fittings and accessories. A longtime employee helps customers from selection through delivery of accessories such as bike trailers. The shop sponsors the Quincy Bike Club and backs the local cycling community with fundraising involvement. Official hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, closed Sundays, and the contact number is (217) 222-7262.
