Legends – Outfitters of Active People sits at 325 Park Plaza Drive in Owensboro as a full-service bike and running shop with a fitting-first approach. During shoe fittings, staff check pressure points and run treadmill trials, swapping pairs until the fit feels right, a process several visitors described in detail. On the bike side, one customer reported the shop collecting a bicycle from home, completing its maintenance, and delivering it back; a parent described a quick turnaround after a child’s brakes locked up, and a traveler passing through received hands-on help fixing a flat. The official site carries an electric-bike lineup led by Velotric, including the Summit 2, Tempo, Fold 1 and Fold 1 Plus, Discover 3, Breeze 1 and GoMad 1, plus an electric trike, alongside a Giant Momentum Transend E+, and the shop’s mechanics handle tune-ups and repairs for the bikes it sells. Hours run Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 10 to 6, and Sunday noon to 5. Phone: (270) 684-9600; web: thenextlegend.com.
