Howard Distribution Inc began in 1987 as a service center repairing scooters and power wheelchairs, and in 1996 it started selling the products it serviced. Based at 1401 East Sunnydale Lakes Circle in Valley Center, the company now sells, installs, and services curved and straight stair lifts, vertical platform lifts, vehicle lifts, ceiling track systems, scooters and power chairs, and scooter lifts for Kansas homes and facilities. It is FMVSS compliant for vehicle modifications and operates as an authorized service center. Accounts describe professional installation crews that complete the proposed work and leave the site clean, with lift chairs installed at reasonable prices and done right the first time. The company also offers 24-hour emergency service and home modifications. A toll-free line is available at (877) 755-1441. The single-location business has served the Wichita metro area for nearly four decades. Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closed Saturday and Sunday. The phone is (316) 648-1694 and the website is hdikansas.com.
