Operating inside the RIDESMITH building at 1624 West Maple Road in the Walled Lake area, Great Lakes Segway specializes in Segway personal transporters, electric scooters, go-karts and mini Segways, with sales, service and repair under one roof. The shop also handles traditional bicycle service and rents e-bikes, and it keeps Segway batteries, elastomers and a wide range of parts and accessories in stock. Visitor notes describe knowledgeable staff and strong technical support, with repairs ranging from routine fixes to major work such as motherboard replacements completed quickly and reliably. The parts selection is noted as one of the larger inventories available, at fair prices. E-bike rentals are arranged through the company’s website with a friendly in-person handoff. For owners of Segway machines and small electric vehicles, the combination of diagnosis, parts depth and repair capability makes it a focused service resource. The business also sells parts through its website, and its technicians have helped Segway owners who contacted them from outside the immediate area.
