Electric Bike Specialists operates from 45 East Main Street, Suite 104, in Chattanooga, phone (423) 475-6569, under owner Ted Caldwell and the alternate name Chattanooga Electric Bikes. The BBB profile lists 17 years in business and describes the company’s products and services as electric bikes, sales, and repairs. The shop sells electric bicycles and handles e-bike maintenance and repair work in-house. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. As a dedicated electric-bike retailer, the Main Street store focuses on pedal-assist bicycles for commuting and recreation, pairing sales with its own repair bench. The Southside location keeps the shop close to downtown Chattanooga and the neighborhoods along the river, serving riders who want a specialist rather than a general sporting-goods counter. Its long tenure predates the current e-bike boom by more than a decade. The Main Street shop also helps customers with battery replacements and electrical diagnostics, common service needs on aging e-bikes.
