Electric Bike Outfitters operates from 2530 W Barberry Pl in Denver, designing and manufacturing electric bike conversion kits since 2015. The company sells front hub, rear hub, and mid-drive electric assist systems that fit standard bicycles, recumbents, and trikes, along with batteries and accessories. The kits run powerful and smooth with long battery life, and the systems have logged cross-country rides of more than 28,000 miles. Owner Jason comes up repeatedly: knowledgeable, patient in answering questions, and able to perform on-the-spot repairs. Installs are straightforward, and the systems work well for riders with physical challenges who want to keep riding. The company also exhibits at industry events such as CycleCon. Hours run Tuesday through Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM, closed weekends. Sales, installations, kit support, and repairs are handled at the Denver shop. The shop hosts product demonstrations and provides manuals online to help owners adjust their own settings.
