CycleSmith’s

CycleSmith’s is a full-service bicycle shop in the heart of St. Matthews at 3928 Shelbyville Rd, carrying Specialized, Scott, Pinarello, and boutique brands in both new and used bicycles. The shop operates its own repair shop and a bike-fitting studio on site, supporting e-bike sales and service alongside conventional bicycles. 2026 social-media announcements documented sales of the Pinarello Nytro e-bike and the Specialized Creo SL Expert electric gravel bike, grounding its e-bike classification in current stock. Owner Rick earns praise for fittings and for going out of the way to source hard-to-find bicycles, while staff member Sam — also credited as Samantha — is recognized for quick adjustments and helping a Yeti rider, and the team for fixing a derailleur quickly at reasonable cost. One critical account noted a used-bike repair returned with shifting still off and a bill above the quoted price; the shop responded publicly, offering to make the repair fully right if the owner paid for the needed parts. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, closed Sunday and Monday; phone (502) 632-1585.
