Chain Reaction Bicycles has been family-owned and operated in Evans since 1991, growing from a local shop into a full-line bicycle store at 4407 Evans To Locks Road that stocks road, mountain, and electric models, including the Levy Plus electric scooter. The sales floor carries Cannondale and other brands alongside electric-assist bikes, while the repair department handles tune-ups, flat repairs, brake work, and accessory installs for bikes and e-bikes. A staffer named David appears in customer accounts of patient, unhurried help, from teaching a child to ride to walking a grandparent through a repair. The store opens Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, reachable at (706) 855-2024 and chainreactionga.com. The Levy Plus scooter on the floor gives recreational electric-scooter shoppers a local place to see one in person before buying. With more than three decades at the same Evans address, the shop serves Columbia County riders as both a retailer and a dependable service stop.
