Bicycle Sports on 5th Place NW is a full-service bike shop serving Rochester cyclists from its northwest location. The service bench is the heart of the operation: mechanics have fixed a rear derailleur while the rider waited even with a booked service area, and helped a stranded cyclist with a flat tire at no charge. Specialized bicycles anchor the sales floor, with Sam on staff for patient, unhurried guidance through purchases and repairs. Jason B went out of his way to arrange shipping help for a pair of 45NRTH winter cycling shoes, an example of the shop’s willingness to solve problems beyond the repair stand. The atmosphere is straightforward and welcoming, with quick adjustments and major overhauls receiving the same care. E-bike owners are served alongside traditional cyclists, with diagnostics and maintenance available for electric models. Riders can reach the shop at (507) 281-5007 or through bicyclesportsinc.com for service scheduling and current inventory.
