Bangtail Bicycle is a Main Street shop in Bozeman combining bicycles and skis, with e-bike sales and service verified on its own site: the store sells Specialized and Trek Class 1, 2, and 3 e-bikes and services motor systems from Bosch, Brose, TQ, and Fazua. Knowledgeable staff and solid service work are recurring themes, with buyers of Specialized and Trek bikes describing attentive guidance rather than a hard sell. Professional bike fitting is offered in-house, and the ski side of the business shares the same reputation for gear expertise. The shop is described as a longstanding local presence in Bozeman’s bike scene. Hours run Monday through Friday plus Saturday mornings, with Sunday closed. It sits a short ride from the downtown trailheads, and the combined bike-and-ski focus makes it a year-round option for riders who need both drivetrains and wax benches under one roof. Service turnaround is quick, and riders describe the mechanics as careful with both new and older bikes.
