Action Bikes

In Universal City, Action Bikes is a family-owned full-service bicycle shop at 1705 Pat Booker Road, Suite 205, serving the San Antonio area since 1983. E-bike offerings appear in the store’s place data alongside its repair services, placing it in the E-Bike Repair category for riders whose electric bikes need attention. Staff earn praise for fast turnaround — bikes fixed in minutes, new bikes assembled with careful safety checks — and the shop is known for loaning bikes during longer checkups so riders are not stranded. Fair, honest pricing and professional, knowledgeable staff round out the reputation, including one no-charge repair handled in the parking lot. Four decades of continuous operation speak to a business that has kept its neighborhood’s trust. Hours run Monday through Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Universal City location serves the northeast metro, convenient for Converse, Live Oak, Selma, and Schertz. For riders who want an old-school shop where the work is quick, the pricing is straight, and the staff knows its business, Action Bikes fits the bill.
