Velocity Multi-Sport & Cycling works out of a Janesville storefront on North Wright Road where the emphasis is on doing the repair right rather than selling something new. Owner Scott leads a small team that includes Mya and Jaysen, and the shop handles e-bikes, full overhauls, wheel builds, and professional bike fitting, including custom shoe fitting and event timing services. One buyer credits the shop with a pre-purchase inspection that caught problems on a used bike and saved a costly mistake, while warranty repairs go smoothly and painlessly. Walk-in fixes like flat tires and adjustments get done quickly, and the staff takes time to explain what is wrong before doing the work. The shop stocks Jamis and Batch bicycles, including step-through models, and one disabled rider was fitted with a trike that restored independent riding. The shop’s business listing notes it carries Levy electric scooters, placing it in the scooter world alongside its cycling work. Hours run Tuesday through Sunday with Monday closed, and Saturday and Sunday share an eleven-to-four window.
