Just The Right Gear operates at 2265 Catawba Valley Drive in Salem, Virginia, as an independent bike shop with a repair bench known for fast turnaround. A bent wheel was straightened in under 30 minutes, an example of the shop’s same-day service capability. Bike sales span categories: a Cannondale mountain bike purchase and a touring gravel grinder purchase both appear in customer accounts, the latter ending with thanks to Steve. A return customer bought a road bike and then a first mountain bike at the shop, and another rider bought two bikes there, calling the crew great. The shop works hard to make sure riders have everything they need, and is called friendly and knowledgeable, with excellent and very personable customer service. Hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Sunday. The address is 2265 Catawba Valley Dr, Salem, VA 24153. The phone number is (540) 384-7800, and the website is justtherightgear.com.
