The Ride is a full-service bicycle shop at 911 Chestnut Street in downtown Conway, Arkansas, where owner Erik leads a team known for patient, knowledgeable service. The shop stocks Specialized road bikes and Haro mountain frames alongside the Levy Plus Electric Scooter, giving commuters an electric-scooter option next to the traditional bicycle lineup. Beyond sales, The Ride functions as a community hub: it hosts regular group rides, runs free Bike 101 classes — the April 2025 session at the shop’s new Chestnut Street location covered flat-tire changes, basic maintenance, and traffic safety — and sells accessories from shoes and pedals to jerseys and tubes. The store also assembles machines such as adult trikes for customers who buy elsewhere and need expert assembly. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4:00 p.m., with Saturday closed. The phone number is (501) 764-4500 and the website is therideonline.net. In June 2026, First Security Bank recognized Erik with a community-service plaque, underscoring the shop’s role in Conway’s cycling life.
