In San Antonio’s King William and Southtown district, Small Planet eBikes is an e-bike specialty shop at 1203 South Alamo Street that has sold and serviced electric bikes since about 2010. More than a decade in the segment means the staff has watched e-bike technology evolve from early hub motors to today’s refined mid-drives, and the shop handles repair and maintenance work on e-bikes as well as regular bikes. The South Alamo location puts it in one of the city’s most walkable, bike-friendly corridors, convenient for downtown and south-side riders. Shoppers researching the name may find a permanently-closed flag tied to a separate Dallas store — the San Antonio shop is confirmed operating and is the location listed here. For riders who want a dedicated electric-bike store rather than a general bike shop, a specialty shop like Small Planet offers focused inventory and technicians who work on e-bike systems daily. Its long run in the Southtown neighborhood makes it one of the metro’s established e-bike addresses.
