Trek Bicycle Cambridge on Alewife Brook Parkway is a Trek and Bontrager store carrying the latest road, city, mountain, and electric models. The service department handles tune-ups and repairs for bikes of any brand, not just Trek, and the shop sits near the Minuteman Bikeway. Comments at the exact address describe fast turnarounds on simple fixes, reasonable prices, and staff who stand behind their work — one rider whose gears shifted poorly about a month after a tune-up had it corrected in ten minutes at no charge. Mechanic Eric is named in more than one comment, including a full drivetrain and brake rebuild of an older Trek 7100 and deep maintenance for two long-distance touring bikes. Shoppers describe honest advice without pressure to overspend, even for first-time buyers. One comment described a cold reception when walking in to look at affordable options, a reminder that experiences can vary. The store offers a solid option for Trek buyers and for repairs on other brands.
